WILSON IRON CHEF & BENEFIT AUCTION
This exciting, family-friendly event will include a timed cooking competition between three teams that will includeĀ BCTC students and 1 chef mentor, to earn the honor of Wilson 2023 Iron Chef!
Several restaurants will also vie for your vote with samples in the People’s Choice Competition. Each restaurant will create a menu item of its choosing using one common ingredient. Attendees sample and vote for their favorite!
Additional Food Vendors will also offer tasty samples ranging from soups and appetizers to entrees and desserts. Some vendors will be selling additional food items.Ā
Enjoy a Culinary session with Linda Bell of the Culinary Classroom, and learn about Types & Care of Knives, Basic Cookware, Culinary Best Practices and Quality Ingredients.
Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in auctions and raffles. Wilson students will also participate in the event with musical performances and demonstrations.

CHECK OUT THE PEOPLE’S CHOICE COMPETITION!
See the creative talent of area chefās and sample their delicious dishes during the Peopleās Choice Competition. Featuring several area restaurants, each will create a menu item of their choosing using one common ingredient predetermined by Wilsonās Iron Chef Committee. During the event, attendees will have an opportunity to taste all items and vote for their favorite. The two restaurants that receive the top votes will be invited to compete in the main Iron Chef Competition the following year.
VISIT VENDOR LANE!
Vendor Lane is an opportunity to highlight local restaurants and food-related businesses that support the Wilson Community. Each vendor will have a table consisting of samples of their choice ranging from soup or appetizers to entrƩes or desserts. During the event, attendees will have the chance to visit the table of their choosing and taste these creations for free!

During this exciting family-friendly event, watch three BCTC Culinary Student Teams and their Mentor Chefs face-off during a 45-minute timed cooking competition. Using 1 secret ingredient, each chef will create a unique dish, earning the title of 2023 WILSON IRON CHEF!
