Title 1
Title I, Part A (Title I) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, as amended (ESEA) provides financial assistance to local educational agencies (LEAs) and schools with high numbers or high percentages of children from low-income families to help ensure that all children meet challenging state academic standards.
Cornwall Terrace, Shiloh Hills, Spring Ridge, and Whitfield Elementary schools are the identified schools that receive Title I services for the 2017-2018 school year. Our program supports students in Grades 1-3. All students receiving additional support must qualify through the district assessments and are serviced by our Reading Specialists. Support is provided to the students individually or in small groups, both in class and as a pullout program.
If you have any questions about the Title I program, please call the Director of Curriculum/Federal Programs Coordinator at (610) 670-0180 ext-6678.
