  • Dr. Richard Faidley Unanimously Approved as New Superintendent of Wilson School District
    At the July 17 meeting of the Wilson School District Board of Directors, Dr. Richard Faidley was officially approved as the new leader of our District.
     
    According to Mr. Steve Ehrlich, President of the WSD Board of Directors, "We are pleased to have secured Dr. Richard Faidley as our new Superintendent.  Dr. Faidley has been an exemplary educational leader who has served as an advocate for students and has forged meaningful relationships with all educational constituents he has worked with over the years.  The WSD Board of Directors has full confidence that Dr. Faidley will successfully lead the WSD as Superintendent of Schools to meet the needs of our students and staff, and to serve our community."

  • New District Website Coming Soon!

    We are excited to announce that our new website will launch on August 1!  Many of the features of the new site are based upon feedback that was received from the community survey that was conducted a few months ago.  Here are some enhancements that will be incorporated into the new site:

    • Better navigation/streamlined content
    • Search engine optimization, which will allow individuals to conduct a google search and receive relevant Wilson website information
    • Optimized for mobile
    • Enhanced building staff directory
    • Streamlined extracurricular navigation

    We are confident that our new Wilson website will provide a much better experience for our parents, students, staff and community!

  • New Immunization Requirements for 2017-18
    The PA Department of Health has made changes to the school immunication regulations that will be in place for the start of the 2017-18 school.  Wilson School District is recommending parents make an appointment with their doctors as soon as possible to avoid appointment delays and to be in compliance for the upcoming school year.  All parents of student without the required immunizations have been notified by mail.  For more information, please visit Immunization Information for Parents 2017-2018 School Year.

  • 2017-18 Student Calendar Update
    Attention Wilson Families:  An updated Student Calendar for the 2017-18 school year has been posted.  The original Student Calendar that was posted DID NOT reflect Friday, November, 10, 2017, as a day off for students.  The District Calendar and Student Calendar both now reflect this as a student day off.  Click Here to view the calendars.

  • Real Estate and Per Capita Tax Bill Payments
    The following payment options are available to Wilson School District taxpayers to pay their 2017 annual Real Estate and Per Capita tax bills dated July 1, 2017:
     
    • Pay at any Fulton Bank branch with the originial bill
    • Pay online at the following LINK
    • Payment may be mailed to: Wilson School District c/o Fulton Bank, P.O. Box 7625, Lancaster, PA  17604.

    Real Estate and Per Capita tax bills dated July 1, 2017, are due by December 31, 2017.  If you have any questions related to your tax bill, please call 610.670.0180 ext. 1117.  Thank you.

    To participate in the Summer Food Service Program, families can utilize any of the following methods to determine the location and availability of free meals for students over the summer months:

  • RACC
    RACC Courses at Wilson Southern Middle School
    This fall take your RACC courses at Wilson Southern Middle School!  RACC is proud to announce the opening of a site location at the Wilson Southern Middle School in Sinking Spring.  Classes will debut in late August of 2017.  RACC will offer hybrid (combined face-to-face and online) and traditional classes during the late afternoon to early evening hours Monday through Thursday at the new location.  To see available course offerings, visit racc.edu/sinkingspring or call 610.607.6224.
