What a wonderful day in our Pre-K classrooms! Our Board President, Steph Kocher, stopped by to see our youngest Bulldogs in action. She got a firsthand look at all the fun, learning, and creativity happening every day.

The excitement continued when our amazing High School students joined us for their weekly visit. They read stories, played games, and helped our Pre-K learners grow through play!

Spring Ridge students had a blast celebrating reading during the Kindergarten Readers Parade! Kindergarteners proudly marched through the hallways while the rest of the school cheered them on. What a wonderful way to celebrate our young readers and their love of books! #WilsonSD

Students in Ms. Raffauf's class put their problem-solving skills to the test by using everyday classroom items to measure circumference and diameter to discover the number Pi. (π)! #WilsonSD

Fourth graders at Cornwall Terrace kicked off their next reading unit with an interactive Learning Lab that brought science to life. Students explored key concepts in geology, including volcanoes, rocks, erosion and weathering, glaciers, and earthquakes. A special feature of the lab was the earthquake simulator machine, allowing students a memorable, hands-on experience.

Our marching band is hosting their home competition, The Sound Panorama, Saturday October 25! Gates open at 3:30pm. Our marching band's approximate performance time is 8:15pm, followed by awards at 8:45 PM. Concessions available all evening! It is open to the community, so bring a friend to enjoy! #WilsonSD

Congratulations to the seven incredible athletes who joined the Wilson Athletic Hall of Fame: Jimmy Brooks, Anton Fernsler, Michael Kemp, Madison (Klee) Close, McKenzie Klee, Shannon O’Brien, and Erin (Timochenko) Thomas. The inductees were honored at a ceremony Friday night and then introduced on the field at halftime of the Homecoming game! #BulldogProud #WilsonSD

The Wilson High School Junior ROTC will host the 23rd Annual Berks County Veterans Appreciation Dinner Dance in the Wilson High School Gymnasium on Saturday, November 8.

Tickets can be purchased in the high school office during the school day, at any Berks County Boscov's Department Store, or at the door on the day of the event. We are looking forward to the opportunity to honor our veterans at this wonderful community event! #WilsonSD

Last week we welcomed the 2025–2026 Superintendent’s Advisory Council! This awesome group of students from each of our buildings will share their voices and ideas to help strengthen the student experience across Wilson. We’re so proud of their leadership and commitment to making a difference! #WilsonSD

AP Environmental Science students visited Nolde Forest this week to explore the local watershed! With guidance from Nolde’s educators, students conducted hands-on fieldwork at Punch’s Run by testing water samples, collecting macroinvertebrates, and analyzing both chemical and biological data. Using their findings, they evaluated the overall health of the watershed and gained valuable insight into the ecosystem they’re studying! #WilsonSD

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15–October 15), the ASOPALA (Association of Latin Parents) committee will host Wilson Bingo Night on October 17, beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the Lower House cafeteria. The event will feature delicious Hispanic food, prizes, and raffles.

Entry is FREE, and cards are only $5 and are valid for the entire night.

All funds raised will support the ELSA Scholarship, awarded to seniors pursuing college or trade school. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend!
