A few weeks ago, Grandview Gallery opened “2026 Calendar Tribute to Wilson Schools – Yesterday and Today,” a special fundraiser featuring the work of Roy Snyder. Through each piece, Roy beautifully captures the nostalgia and distinctive architecture of our district, showcased both in the gallery and in the calendar.

Grandview Gallery is proud to partner with Roy in supporting the M.J. Snyder Scholarship and the Wilson Education Foundation.

Mrs. Haymaker’s K–2 Autistic Support classroom has officially reopened the Quiet Corner Book Store! Students practiced their communication skills and built confidence by collecting books from staff, organizing the donations, and preparing the store for “opening day.”

Staff members stopped by to shop for new books, exchanging the tickets they earned for each donated book. It was a wonderful learning experience for students and a fun way to share the love of reading! #WilsonSD

Seniors Will Ferenchick and Harrison Eck represented Wilson High School at the 39th Annual Brossman Foundation and Ronald E. Frisbie, Sr. Science Lectureship and Competition, held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Millersville University. The duo teamed up to earn second-place honors in the highly competitive event. The annual competition brought together 19 schools from across southeastern Pennsylvania to participate in an advanced science examination. The 100-question exam challenged students with material from introductory college levels and spanned a wide variety of disciplines, including biology, chemistry, computer science, earth sciences, environmental science and sustainability, mathematics, nursing, physics, technology, and the health professions, as well as topics from current science news. Team scores in the competition ranged from 47 to 79 correct responses. In achieving second place, Will and Harrison scored an impressive 78, demonstrating their exceptional knowledge, teamwork, and scientific skill! #WilsonSD
