This weekend, Wilson’s Middle School Orchestra teachers (Mrs. Kelly Kuhn, Wilson West; Mrs. Helen Clark, Wilson Southern) co-hosted the Music Educators of Berks County’s annual invitational, MEBC Sixth Grade String Fest! With musicians from 16 schools, representing ten different districts, the full orchestra boasted over 130 players at Saturday’s Festival Concert.
A nearly full house of friends and family members enjoyed their afternoon presentation, but the real shout out goes to the performers! We love to see you shine! #WilsonSD

We are incredibly proud to announce that Shiloh Hills has earned Tier 1 Fidelity for PBIS from PaTTAN! This recognition is based on the Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI), which is a comprehensive, evidence-based measure used to verify that a school is accurately and consistently applying the core features of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. Achieving Tier 1 Fidelity means that our school has successfully established a solid foundation of universal supports—including clear behavioral expectations, proactive teaching of social skills, and data-based decision-making—to ensure a safe, positive, and effective learning environment for every student. Congratulations to our hardworking staff and students for "walking the walk" and making Shiloh Hills a place where everyone can thrive!

Last week, Spring Ridge 4th graders welcomed Wilson graduate, author of Finding My Lifesaver, and Duck Donuts owner Kristen Ciabattoni as part of their biography unit. She shared her journey as a swimmer, author, business owner, mother, and career woman.
As students listened to the obstacles she faced and the support she received along the way, they explored how character traits shape a person’s path. Her story reminded them that success comes from perseverance, support, and believing in yourself! A special thank you to Kristen for taking the time to share her story and inspire our students. #WilsonSD

On March 4, a group of juniors had the opportunity to attend the GRCA's 15th Annual Women2Women Conference & Expo held at Alvernia University. We spent the day hearing from inspiring and empowering speakers, participating in breakout sessions, and interacting with local businesses and organizations to learn more about the value of community and leadership. A highlight of the conference was hearing keynote speakers Cory Varona and Nicol Varona Cancelmo, co-founders of curly hair care brand OCOA, talk about their personal and entrepreneurial journey from Reading, PA to becoming the first Dominican-American founded brand to launch nationwide at Ulta Beauty! #WilsonSD

Mr. Dominik, Mrs. Dunkelberger, Mrs. Lai, and Mr. Schaeffer recently accompanied 44 students from Wilson West Middle School to the annual Engineering Jam at Alvernia University! Students in grades 6–8 participated in an exciting day of hands-on STEM learning as they designed and built engineering sound structures capable of withstanding increasing amounts of weight.
Working in teams, students applied creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration to test their designs and refine their ideas. In addition to the engineering challenge, the event gave students the opportunity to connect with peers from other school districts and experience a university campus environment.
It was a fun and engaging day filled with innovation, teamwork, and real-world engineering exploration! #WilsonSD
