Happy #MotivationalMonday! Have a great week!! #WilsonSD

Before the end of the school year, 5th grade library students at Whitfield took a meaningful trip down memory lane. They revisited Be You by Peter H. Reynolds, a story that was first shared with them back in Kindergarten. To celebrate how far they have come, each student received a special bookmark featuring the very first book they checked out alongside the most recent one. Many students were excited to track down their original selections, flipping through pages filled with memories and even snapping photos to capture the moment. It was a full-circle experience and a reminder of just how much they have grown as readers! #WilsonSD

This week's 2025–2026 school year highlight is the 8th Grade Career Fair!

Happy #MotivationalMonday!

Wilson High School Class of 2003 graduate and U.S. Navy Commander Alison Derr Maruca played a role in the 82nd D-Day Anniversary ceremonies in Normandy, France.
Serving as a Public Affairs Officer, Commander Maruca helped coordinate American military participation in this important international commemoration honoring the courage and sacrifice of those who served on D-Day.
We are proud to see a Wilson alumna representing our nation and making an impact on the global stage.
