On Friday, our 4th and 5th grade gifted students from across the district came together for an engaging learning experience centered on animals, ecosystems, and sustainability.
Through interactive seminars, students explored how local and global species play a crucial role in our environment while building a deeper understanding of their unique needs and habitats. They also examined real-world challenges facing animal populations and collaborated to brainstorm thoughtful, innovative solutions.
It was inspiring to see their curiosity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills in action! #WilsonSD

Recently, Wilson High Schools Mental Health Council held their first Mental Health Awareness Festival! The festival was open to the community, and included food trucks, activities and more! This event was held for Mental Health Awareness Month! Thank you to everyone who attended and helped put the event together! #WilsonSD
Looking back at one of Wilson’s favorite senior traditions for this weeks #ThrowbackThursday! Cap & Gown gives graduating seniors the chance to celebrate together while competing for prizes and raffles featuring dorm essentials and more. #WilsonSD
We are excited that the Class of 2026 graduation will once again begin with a community parade! The parade will start at 6:00 pm, so let’s come together and cheer for the Class of 2025! We are so proud of them!

A few weeks ago, kindergarten classrooms at Cornwall Terrace welcomed four local businesses into their classrooms: Annabelle Bowers Photography, May’s Sandwich Shop, Acacia Flowers, and Chaz Logan from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices.
Students learned about each career and took part in activities connected to each profession, giving them a fun and meaningful glimpse into the world of work right in their own community. A huge thank you to all of the local businesses who took the time to share their experiences and inspire our Bulldogs! #WilsonSD

Wilson Southern Middle School earned a 2nd place ribbon at the Berks County Middle School Reading Olympics Competition! After spending the year reading and preparing from a list of 25 selected books, the team did an outstanding job in the question-and-answer competition and proudly brought home 2nd place. Great work, Bulldogs! #WilsonSD

Congratulations to high school students Heidi Ding and William Ferenchick on their incredible achievements at the International Science and Engineering Fair in Phoenix, Arizona!
Representing some of the top young scientists and researchers in the world, Heidi competed in Biomedical and Health Sciences with her novel assay to quantify latent Hepatitis B, while William showcased his biomimetic tendon-driven jumping robot in the Robotics category.
We’re especially proud to share that William earned the Office of Naval Research Award for his outstanding work, an amazing accomplishment! #BulldogProud #WilsonSD

Families from across the district came together for our ESL Spring Family Night and celebrated in an “Out of This World” way! Students and families had the chance to connect with one another, explore crafts and activities inspired by cultures from around the world, and learn the meaning behind each tradition. Our high school ESL students also volunteered throughout the evening, helping families at each station and making the event even more special. It was wonderful to see them giving back and connecting with younger students.
The evening was filled with music, laughter, pizza, ice cream, and unforgettable memories as we celebrated the diversity that makes our schools so special. #WilsonSD

We were thrilled to honor Heidi Ding at Monday night's School Board Meeting for her service as the Student Representative to the Board for the 2025-2026 school year. In addition, Heidi was the recipient of the School Board Leadership Scholarship in recognition of her excellence in academics, extracurricular involvement and civic-mindedness.

For this week’s #ThrowbackThursday, we’re highlighting Wilson Boys lacrosse past and present! We’re proud to celebrate both the memories of the past and the accomplishments of the present! #WilsonSD
On Tuesday, May 12th, Mr. Stambaugh and Mr. Honig took 16 Wilson Southern 7th grade girls to Penn State Berks campus for the "Careers with Math Options" conference. They participated in a variety of hands-on activities involving the Fibonacci sequence in nature, force and acceleration of a jump, and nutrition. In the last picture, the girls are with Abby Miller, a former Wilson Southern student who is going into her senior year at PSU Berks, studying kinesiology! #WilsonSD

Cornwall Terrace third graders wrapped up their two-week deep dive into the Titanic with an unforgettable “Titanic Day”!
Students brought history to life by uncovering artifacts from real passengers they researched, writing cursive diary entries and postcards home, and diving into STEAM activities like Morse code bracelets and making ice cream to understand just how cold the water was on April 15, 1912.
They even got a taste of history by sampling snacks from 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-class menus!
From viewing authentic artifacts to stepping into the shoes of passengers, it was an unforgettable day of discovery! #WilsonSD
