Ms. Logan's 2nd graders were so excited to launch their new nonfiction reading unit by learning all about spiders! Through hands-on experiences, students explored nonfiction text features to uncover fascinating facts about these amazing creatures.

As part of their discovery, they learned about the challenges spiders face in our community and the many ways spiders help us. Working collaboratively, students brainstormed possible ways to support our local spiders and showcased their learning through posters, slideshows, and videos.

The students now has a newfound appreciation for spiders and can’t wait to continue exploring more nonfiction topics ahead! #WilsonSD

What a wonderful day in our Pre-K classrooms! Our Board President, Steph Kocher, stopped by to see our youngest Bulldogs in action. She got a firsthand look at all the fun, learning, and creativity happening every day.

The excitement continued when our amazing High School students joined us for their weekly visit. They read stories, played games, and helped our Pre-K learners grow through play!

It is always fun to welcome visitors from around the district and share the amazing things our students are doing! #WilsonSD
