Students in Spring Ridge’s Intermediate Autistic Support class took part in a fun, hands-on pumpkin exploration activity! The students got to touch the outside of the pumpkin, knock to hear its sound, and feel its texture before scooping out the insides and exploring even more. It was a great way to engage their senses and celebrate learning through discovery! #WilsonSD

You’re invited the opening reception of “2026 Calendar Tribute to Wilson Schools - Yesterday and Today” on November 22, 1-4 pm! Roy Snyder’s colorful paintings capture the nostalgia and wonderful architecture of the district. Grandview Gallery is proud to partner with Roy to fundraise for the M.J. Snyder Scholarship and the Wilson Education Foundation.

Can’t make the opening reception? Buy calendars here: https://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/ZD9WLZMCEDF6N (note: artwork only available to purchase in person) Calendars are also available for purchase at Mays Sandwhich Shop (2525 Penn Ave, Reading, PA 19609)

All calendar sales will be donated to the Wilson Education Foundation. The Wilson Education Foundation positively impacts students’ lives by supporting the Wilson School District in three areas: Student Experience, Teaching Excellence, and Community Engagement. The money the Wilson Education Foundation raises is used to support and assist the needs of students, teachers, and community.

All original painting sales will be donated to the M.J. Snyder Scholarship Fund awarded by the Berks County Community Foundation. This scholarship is in honor of Mary Jane Snyder, Roy’s wife, who taught third grade at the Womelsdorf School in the Conrad Weiser School District for 27 years. Mary Jane was a caring, creative, conscientious, highly respected, and much loved teacher. The scholarship in her honor is awarded to a senior graduating from Conrad Weiser High School who intends to major in education, with a preference for elementary education; and three student-athletes from the Wilson Aquatics program.

Wilson Theater Company presents The Play That Goes Wrong!

A delightfully disastrous comedy play, The Play That Goes Wrong follows the Cornley University Drama Society as they attempt to stage a 1920s murder mystery.  Everything spirals hilariously out of control, as the accident-prone cast and crew struggle to make it to the final curtain call.  Audiences will be treated to a whirlwind of slapstick humor and perfectly timed chaos. This laugh-out-loud farce is a must-see for fans of Monty Python and Noises Off, and good for audiences age 10 and up!
