Cornwall Terrace Elementary was buzzing with curiosity last Friday as the PTO hosted STEM Night 🔬
Students and families explored hands-on activities that brought science, technology, engineering, and math to life, from extracting DNA and creating lava lamps to launching rockets and learning CPR.
With support from district educators and community partners, including Penn State Berks, Albright College, Tower Health, Science Explorers, Berks Nature, and the Reading Science Center, the school transformed into a hub of discovery.
A night like this shows just how exciting learning can be! #WilsonSD

Last weekend, students from across Berks County in grades 7–9 participated in a marvelous showcase of band, orchestra, and choral performances at the 2026 Music Educators of Berks County Junior County Festival. Earning their prestigious spots through auditions this winter, these young musicians prepared for the event in just two rehearsals.
This year’s event was held at Muhlenberg High School and featured participants from a dozen schools across the county. The Wilson School District was well represented, with twenty-one singers, sixteen orchestra members, and thirteen band members—several of whom performed in multiple ensembles.
While the students took on the challenge of preparing their music, special gratitude goes to the music teachers and families who support these young musicians in their endeavors! #WilsonSD
