Wilson High School boasts a remarkable group of community-focused students, and one standout individual is Anthony Fiore, an 11th-grade student. Anthony is currently spearheading a collection drive for essential items destined for deployed troops overseas. This initiative, known as Stockings for Soldiers, is in collaboration with Keystone Military Families. They aim to gather donations to create holiday stockings for troops stationed abroad. Serving as the Youth Ambassador for Keystone Military Families, Anthony has dedicated a decade to organizing this collection.
For those wishing to contribute, donations can be dropped off at any Wilson school building until Thursday, November 30th. Additionally, there will be a special community collection event in partnership with the Pennsylvania State Police on Friday, December 1st, from 7:30 am to 8:15 am. This event will take place in front of the High School building at the main entrance on Grandview Blvd.
