The District received this press release from the District Attorney’s office on Wednesday, November 16, 2022.  Our statement regarding this release is as follows:

The Wilson School District cannot comment on an active police investigation or personnel matters. Based on the information provided by the District Attorney’s Office, we can say that these charges are unrelated to employment with the Wilson School District. Our procedures are to immediately place an employee on administrative leave upon being notified of an active police investigation. In this case, the district was notified on August 30 and followed all required procedures. 

We can also confirm this employee had active PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal History, and FBI Criminal History clearances.  He has not entered our school building since being placed on administrative leave on August 30, 2022.
