5th Grade Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to Wilson West Middle School! We are so excited to officially welcome our incoming 6th-grade students and ensure a smooth transition from elementary school. Our outstanding faculty and staff are committed to supporting your child.
We've already started the transition process:
We visited each elementary school to meet with incoming students.
Incoming students will visit Wilson West this month for a student-led tour of the building and a Q&A session with our student leaders.
Please mark your calendars for these important upcoming events:
Parent Information Session: Monday, June 1st, in the Auditorium. We will cover the 6th-grade schedule, grading system, our fall camping trip, and more.
6:00 PM–6:45 PM: Students with last names A–L.
7:00 PM–7:45 PM: Students with last names M–Z.
6th Grade Open House: Tuesday, August 18th, 3:30 PM–5:00 PM. This is an opportunity to walk through the building, locate classrooms using your child's schedule, and meet some teachers.
Meet the Teacher Night: Tuesday, August 25th, 6:00 PM–8:00 PM.
