Dear Wilson Parents/ Guardians,
All Wilson Elementary schools will be hosting parent/teacher conferences on Monday,
November 24th from 12:40-3:40 pm and 5:00-8:00 pm, as well as Tuesday, November 25th from 12:40-3:40 pm. Given the importance of home-school communication, our goal is to have teachers meet with the parents/guardians of every child assigned to their classroom during these designated times to share information on the child’s academic and behavioral progress.
To sign up for a conference time, parents/guardians must access their child’s elementary school webpage, click on the Parent-Teacher Conference Sign-Up Link, and select a time slot by Monday, November 17th. To sign up for a conference time, parents/guardians will need to find their child’s teacher's name and use the teacher's SignUpGenius form to select a time slot. You must do this for each child if you have multiple students at one of our elementary buildings. Signing up for a time slot as soon as possible is recommended, as they will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Each conference will be 15 minutes long.
Conferences will be held in person or, if necessary, virtually via Google Meet. Parents must indicate whether they prefer virtual on the SignUpGenius form. Once the conference schedules are set, teachers will communicate with each student's parent/guardian to confirm the date, time, and Google Meet details (if needed) for each conference. Confirming this information will be necessary, so please look for this communication from your child’s teacher.
*Parents of 4th and 5th-grade students should sign up for a conference with the homeroom teacher only. The homeroom teacher will be prepared to share information from both classes/teachers.
For anyone who schedules a virtual conference, teachers will contact parents/guardians to provide Google Meet information for the virtual conference. Confirming this information will be important, so please look for this communication from your child’s teacher.
If you wish to discuss your child’s progress in Art, Music, Physical Education, Library, or Discovery, sign up for a conference with them individually, or contact the team to see if they can meet together during a conference time that works for you. Our special education teachers will, where possible, coordinate conferences with the classroom teacher. We look forward to meeting with you!
