The Wilson High School Junior ROTC will host the 23rd Annual Berks County Veterans Appreciation Dinner Dance in the Wilson High School Gymnasium on Saturday, November 8.

Tickets can be purchased in the high school office during the school day, at any Berks County Boscov's Department Store, or at the door on the day of the event. We are looking forward to the opportunity to honor our veterans at this wonderful community event! #WilsonSD

AP Environmental Science students visited Nolde Forest this week to explore the local watershed! With guidance from Nolde’s educators, students conducted hands-on fieldwork at Punch’s Run by testing water samples, collecting macroinvertebrates, and analyzing both chemical and biological data. Using their findings, they evaluated the overall health of the watershed and gained valuable insight into the ecosystem they’re studying! #WilsonSD

Throwback Thursday: Past to present lunch menus
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15–October 15), the ASOPALA (Association of Latin Parents) committee will host Wilson Bingo Night on October 17, beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the Lower House cafeteria. The event will feature delicious Hispanic food, prizes, and raffles.

Entry is FREE, and cards are only $5 and are valid for the entire night.

All funds raised will support the ELSA Scholarship, awarded to seniors pursuing college or trade school. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend!

Our Marching Band took the field at the Cavalcade of Bands Competition at Boyertown Area High School and absolutely wowed the judges! With a score of 81.95, the band earned top honors in both Percussion and Color Guard. Last weekend at Wilson West Middle School, a monument was unveiled in memory of Anton Fernsler. Anton coached throughout Wilson athletics for 31 years and taught in the District for 27 years.

Athletic Director Drew Kaufmann, West Principal Dr. Chris Rada, sophomore Jonny Challenger, junior Joel Amor, alum Troy Corson (WHS Class of 2021), coach Joe Mays, Azure Fernsler Lokos, and Superintendent Dr. Chris Trickett all gave thanks and shared memories of Anton and his enduring legacy.

Wilson High School JROTC Cadets honored the heroes of 9/11 during the annual Bulldog Stair Climb this past weekend. Each cadet climbed the equivalent of 110 stories, symbolizing the World Trade Center, as a powerful tribute to the lives lost and the bravery shown that day. #WilsonSD

This past Friday, we hosted our 2nd Annual Salute to Service Football Game. It was a special night honoring active-duty service members, veterans, retirees, and first responders. Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating these heroes!!

Following the game, the Wilson Football Tradition Club recognized Head Coach Doug Dahms for reaching an incredible 50 seasons coaching Wilson football! The WFTC presented him with a custom art piece featuring the last names of more than 1,000 student-athletes he has coached since starting his career in 1976 under John Gurski.

It was truly a night to remember for our entire community. #WilsonSD
