A few weeks ago, Wilson High School Interact Club hosted the Eggstravaganza!
Hosted annually by our Interact Club, with support from the West Reading-Wyomissing Rotary Club, this Easter-themed event is designed especially for students with special needs from across Berks County. From hundreds of candy-filled eggs to prize baskets, treats, and fun activities, every detail is thoughtfully planned to create a welcoming and memorable experience for all.
A huge shoutout to Interact Club advisor Chris Daubert and our incredible student volunteers who plan, prep, and bring this event to life each year. Their care and dedication help make Eggstravaganza a safe, joyful space for students and their families. #WilsonSD

2026 Challenge: Eco-Factory – Build a Sustainable Production Machine
Inspired by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, students are designing and building innovative factory prototypes using K’Nex and/or Engino.
Their goal? Create a functioning machine that minimizes waste, maximizes efficiency, and demonstrates the use of sustainable or reusable materials.

After months of preparation, the team competed against schools across Berks County, showcasing their knowledge of global issues, foreign policy, and current events.
Congratulations to Chase Mitstifer, William Cochran, Jakub Mochon, and Christina Rohm on this incredible achievement! They’ll advance to the national competition in Washington, D.C.—we’re excited to cheer them on! #WilsonSD

On March 4, a group of juniors had the opportunity to attend the GRCA's 15th Annual Women2Women Conference & Expo held at Alvernia University. We spent the day hearing from inspiring and empowering speakers, participating in breakout sessions, and interacting with local businesses and organizations to learn more about the value of community and leadership. A highlight of the conference was hearing keynote speakers Cory Varona and Nicol Varona Cancelmo, co-founders of curly hair care brand OCOA, talk about their personal and entrepreneurial journey from Reading, PA to becoming the first Dominican-American founded brand to launch nationwide at Ulta Beauty! #WilsonSD

Our high school statistics students recently hosted their annual Stat Fair, turning data and probability into an interactive experience!
Throughout the day, students and staff stopped by to play the original games designed and built by our Statistics classes. We love seeing our students bring their learning to life through hands-on experiences that make math meaningful and memorable! #WilsonSD

Two teams of Southern 8th graders recently put their problem-solving skills to the test at the Alvernia University Engineering Jam!
Using only a provided set of materials, students were challenged to design and build a tower at least eight inches tall that could support as much weight as possible.
Congratulations to JJ Hill, Jasnoor Hothi, Bridgette Hess, Kru Quimby, Dimitri Antonellos, and Braden Smith, who earned an impressive third-place finish among middle schools from across the county! #WilsonSD

What an incredible night of music! 🎶
On Friday, February 20, Wilson proudly hosted the Music Educators of Berks County (MEBC) 6th Grade Songfest at Wilson West Middle School.
It was an inspiring day as 148 talented students from 16 schools across Berks County came together for an unforgettable experience. After just five hours of focused rehearsal with a guest conductor, the students delivered a beautiful evening performance for their families.
We are especially proud of our 22 Wilson sixth graders from both West and Southern who represented our district with excellence and heart. Congratulations to all of the performers on a fantastic concert! #WilsonSD
