The 3rd grade classes will visit Old Dry Road Farm on the following dates:

Wednesday, October 8 - Classrooms 1, 2

Thursday, October 9 - Classrooms 3,4

Parents/Guardians:

Please pack lunches in disposable bags and containers. NO GLASS!

Dress children in play clothes that may get dirty, including sneakers. They will be outside all day doing activities in a barn and walking on grass and in cool/wet weather.

Wear layers of comfortable, weather appropriate clothing. Again, they will be outside ALL day rain or shine, so be sure to bring rain gear/umbrella if needed.

Parents/Guardians interested in participating as a chaperone are required to have all of their clearances completed and submitted to the CT Office as soon as possible. Some clearances may take 2-4 weeks to receive:

Act 34 - PA Criminal Background Check
- Choose "volunteer" as the reason for the background check.

Act 151 - PA Child Abuse History Clearance
- Choose "volunteer" as the reason for the background check.

FBI Criminal Clearance Form (Act 114) - only if you're ineligible to submit the Volunteer Affidavit
- Select Digital Fingerprinting

- There is a cost associated with Fingerprinting of about $25.00
