I am an experienced and dedicated educator with over 20 years of experience in education. I was born and raised in Berks County, Pennsylvania. After completing my undergraduate degree in Elementary and Special Education from Kutztown University, I gained diverse teaching experiences in various settings, including 4th grade, life skills support, learning support, and autistic support classes in Pennsylvania and California. I further advanced my career by obtaining a Master’s degree and Principal Certification from Cabrini College, followed by a Doctorate of Education from Neumann University.
Apart from my professional accomplishments, I am a devoted wife and mother of five children. My family holds a special place in my heart, and I cherish every moment spent with them. My four older children graduated from Wilson High School, while my youngest attends Wilson West Middle School.
I have been serving as the Principal of Spring Ridge Elementary since December 2013. Before assuming this role, I worked as the Elementary Special Education Supervisor in the district. This experience has given me valuable insight into the unique needs of students with special requirements.
As the Principal, my primary goal is to create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment that empowers every student to reach their fullest potential. I believe that every student has unique talents and abilities that, when nurtured and developed, can lead to great success. Therefore, I am dedicated to equipping each and every student with the necessary skills and knowledge they need to thrive in the world beyond the classroom.
