The Wilson School District is pleased to announce the appointments of an Assistant Superintendent for Elementary and an Assistant Superintendent for Secondary. The appointments are the result of a recent district-wide reorganization that was approved by the Wilson School Board at the June 3, 2019 meeting.
Dr. Stacey Stoudt was appointed as Assistant Superintendent for Elementary. Dr. Stoudt began her career with the Wilson School District in 1988, after graduating from Kutztown University with a B.S. in Early Childhood/Elementary education. Dr. Stoudt served as an elementary teacher in the district for 20 years and then became the first Instructional Coach for Wilson. After several years in this role, Dr. Stoudt served as principal of both Green Valley and Whitfield Elementary schools. She also served the district as Director of Assessment. Dr. Stoudt’s many certifications include Reading Specialist, LOE in Teacher Leadership and Instructional Coaching, principal certification and a doctorate in Educational Leadership & Management from Drexel University.
In her new role as Assistant Superintendent for Elementary, Dr. Stoudt will supervise and direct the evaluation and development of our elementary building-level leadership as well as complete professional development initiatives related to principal and teacher evaluation. She will also work closely with District leadership to create quality instructional practice that results in superior academic achievement for all our students.
Mr. Chris Trickett was appointed Assistant Superintendent for Secondary. Mr. Trickett has been employed by the Wilson School District since 2003 and is currently serving as the principal of Wilson High School. Prior to serving as high school principal, Mr. Trickett was the Director of Technology, High School Assistant Principal and a technology teacher. He received his bachelor degree in technology education from Millersville University and his master of education in classroom technology from Wilkes University. He received his principal certification from Alvernia University in 2013 and will receive his doctorate in educational leadership from Immaculata University this fall.
In his new role as Assistant Superintendent for Secondary, Mr. Trickett will supervise and direct the evaluation and development of our secondary building-level leadership as well as complete professional development initiatives related to principal and teacher evaluation. He will also be responsible for the oversight of our Athletic and Food Services Departments.
