On November 23, the Wolf Administration announced that all Pre-K to 12 public schools in counties that have been in the substantial transmission level for at least two consecutive weeks need to commit to safety measures to ensure the safety and well-being of students and educators.
As a District, we have signed the required attestation form that allows us to continue to offer in-person instruction while in substantial community spread. By signing this form, we as a district committed to:
- Reading the Updated Order of the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Health Requiring Universal Face Coverings, effective November 18, 2020, including necessary exceptions and associated guidance, and affirm the public school entity is complying and will continue to comply with and enforce the Updated Order of the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Health Requiring Universal Face Coverings, including necessary exceptions and associated guidance; and
- Reading and agreeing to follow the Recommendations for Pre-K to 12 Schools Following Identification of a Case(s) of COVID-19, when cases of COVID-19 occur within the public school entity.
