The Wilson School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Jennifer L. Joiner as Whitfield Elementary School Principal and Dr. Daniel R. Weber as Wilson High School Principal. Ms. Joiner succeeds Dr. Stacey Stoudt, who was recently named Assistant Superintendent for Elementary. Dr. Weber succeeds Mr. Christopher Trickett, who was recently named Assistant Superintendent for Secondary. The new principals were approved at the July 15, 2019 board meeting.
Ms. Joiner most recently worked as an RTII Coordinator/ Instructional Support Teacher at Whitfield Elementary School. Her 22 years of experience in education includes work as a Title One Intervention Teacher, a Literacy Coach and Reading Specialist. In addition to her current teaching role at Whitfield, she served as the Building Staff Leader where she was responsible for assuming the building administrator duties in administrator’s absence. Ms. Joiner received her Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from West Chester University. She also received her Master of Education in reading from West Chester. She received her principal certification from Alvernia University.
Dr. Weber most recently served as Assistant Principal at Manheim Township High School in Lancaster, PA. He joined Manheim Township School District in 2013 as the Dean of Students. He also previously taught physics and mathematics at J.P. McCaskey High School. He began his career as an industrial engineer at Yuasa Battery before going into education. Dr. Weber is a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College with a degree in physics. He received his Master’s Degree in education from Albright College and his Doctorate from Immaculata University.
According to Dr. Richard H. Faidley, Superintendent, “We all look forward to working closely with both Ms. Joiner and Dr. Weber to develop an entry plan that allows them to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact on our students, families, staff, and community.”
