On Wednesday, March 23, it was reported to the High School Administration at approximately 8:30 am that a student may be in possession of a replica of a gun. Upon notification, the administration immediately placed the entire High School campus, including the administration building and Whitfield Elementary School on lockdown in place. We also immediately alerted local law enforcement. The replica handgun was recovered by the High School administration and the student was removed from school by Spring Township Police. The administration ended the lockdown in place at 8:56 am at the direction of law enforcement. All students and staff are safe.
Safety is our top priority at the Wilson School District. Thank you to our students and staff who followed all our protocols.
