The PA Department of Education and the Department of Health recently released updated short-term closure metrics which are based on the number of positive COVID-19 cases within a rolling 14-day time period. For Wilson High School, we are required to shift to short-term remote learning when we reach 6 positive cases. Unfortunately, we reached this number at the High School on Wednesday and will need to shift into a remote learning environment for Friday to allow time for contact tracing and sanitization.
Again, all instruction at the High School will be remote for all learners, including our in-person special education classes tomorrow, Friday, December 18th.
We will resume our regular modes of instruction at the High School on Monday, December 21st.
