My name is Michele Zawilla, the District Social Worker and SAP Specialist.
I graduated from Boyertown High School in Boyertown PA. In May of 1998, I graduated from Kutztown University with my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. I also received my Master’s degree in Social Work from Marywood University in 2000. In the past, I have worked as a case manager at Berks County MH/MR, a family specialist at Open Door, a foster care specialist at Northwestern Human Services, a Drug and Alcohol Counselor at Caron, and an out-patient therapist at PA Counseling Services.
I started working at Wilson School District as a Student Assistance Program Liaison in 2003. I was then hired as the Student Assistance Program Specialist/Social Worker in 2006. I love working with my students and families, and assisting them in overcoming any difficulties they are experiencing.
