Jody Reppert
Mr. Jody Reppert has been a theater teacher for 27 years and has been teaching at Wilson since 2000. Mr. Reppert has acted, directed, or produced more than 275 productions in Pennsylvania and Arizona. While in Arizona, he directed the division 5A state championship play TALL TALES, was twice awarded the Tempe Diablo’s Excellence in Teaching Award, and was recognized with a teacher of the year honor from the Tempe Union High School District Governing Board.
Mr. Reppert is the advisor to the Wilson Theater Company and has worked with more than 1500 students during his 17 years with the district. He has directed more than 60 main stage productions at Wilson, and has overseen the initiation of many student performance groups including: student directed one-acts; improv; summer, fall, and spring mainstage productions; open-mic nights; Bucks County Playhouse touring plays; children’s theater productions; Supper Serenade; PA State Thespian Conference performances, and many highly successful classroom presentations throughout the district. Under his direction, each year the Wilson Theater Company stages more than 20 productions for the school, and / or community. In addition, every summer he and his wife offer a highly successful theater program for elementary and middle school children.
Mr. Reppert is currently pursuing his Masters of Production Design degree from the University of Southern Oregon.
