It is great to be back home here at West!  After teaching science at Wilson Central Jr. High and West Middle School for 22 1/2 years, I moved into an instructional coach role and had the chance to work with teachers and students all over the district.  I was so excited by the opportunity to come back to West in 2021 as assistant principal.

Middle-level education has always been my passion, and I am fortunate to work with an outstanding faculty and staff as we help our students develop and flourish during this exciting and ever-changing time in their lives.

To our students – be willing to push yourselves to achieve and to try new things.  Middle school is all about new relationships and experiences from classes to clubs to extracurricular activities.

To our parents and guardians – we ask that you encourage your children, get involved as much as you are able, and let them know that you feel their education is important.
