I am extremely excited and privileged to begin another year as the Gifted Support Teacher at West. It is difficult to believe, but the 2018-2019 school year marks my 21st year in education. Prior to joining the Wilson School District in 1999, I taught 7th and 8th grade social studies for one and a half years in Grove City (PA) Middle School. Since coming to Wilson, I have held numerous positions throughout the district. I was a high school social studies teacher for thirteen years and was also the department supervisor for seven of those years. For four years, I served as West’s assistant principal before accepting the Gifted Support position in April 2016. Working with this talented and gifted population has been such a blessing and I look forward to the amazing things that this year’s students will produce.
