In the interest of student safety, our elementary schools are reminding all visitors of procedures when a family member chooses to come for a school visit. Please be sure to report to the main office and present your photo identification to the office staff. Those who are listed in Skyward under “Emergency Contacts” will be permitted to sign in at the school office, obtain a visitor’s badge, and proceed into the school.
If an individual is not listed in Skyward, expressed permission must be granted from the parent/guardian who is listed in Skyward. Parents/guardians may add an individual to Skyward (someone who visits more than once per year) or offer written consent for the date of the visit. In the event that prearrangement has not been made, office staff will attempt to contact the parent/guardian via phone to obtain verbal permission. Unfortunately without one of these forms of permission from the parent/guardian, no visitors will be allowed in the building.
