Through the use of our last Thoughtexchange in June 2022, Wilson School District stakeholders identified safety, security and well-being as important focus areas for the District.
Top thoughts included:
- School safety–Mental/behavioral health issues need to be addressed to provide a safe and equitable education for all students.
- Prioritizing safety for students, teachers, and staff–everyone deserves a safe learning environment.
Moving forward, Wilson School District would like to strengthen our ability to create a safe, secure, and supportive environment for staff, students, and the community. Therefore, we are running an additional Thoughtexchange to hear our community’s thoughts regarding “How can we as a district strengthen our ability to create better experiences for the entire school community in the areas of safety, security, and well-being?”
Your input is valued and appreciated. The feedback you provide will help drive our strategic plan for the upcoming school year. The deadline to participate in this exchange is Sunday, July 10, 2022.
