The Wilson School Board recently accepted the resignation of Superintendent Dr. Richard Faidley.  With Dr. Faidley’s resignation, the Board of Directors will be working with the Berks County Intermediate Unit (BCIU) to facilitate the Superintendent search for the District. Selecting a new school district leader is one of the most important decisions a School Board will make. Finding the best Superintendent to lead the Wilson School District is critical for the long term future of the District.

For your reference, below is the tentative timeline for initial search components:

• Position Posting:  Wednesday, April 20, 2022 – Sunday, May 1, 2022        
• Community Survey:  Wednesday, April 20, 2022 – Sunday, May 1, 2022       

We encourage all stakeholders to participate in the online Community Survey. The School Board wants to hear from you.  Specifically, we are soliciting input regarding what qualities you would like to see in the next Superintendent.
