Hello! My name is Miss Katelynn Jaxheimer. I am the Intermediate Autistic Support teacher at Shiloh Hills Elementary School! I attended Kutztown University, and was a member of both the Women’s Soccer Program and the Honor’s Program at the University. I have a dual certification in special education, as well as elementary education.
I am a volunteer coach for the girl’s high school varsity soccer team, as well as a coach for the Girls on the Run program at Shiloh Hills. I fully believe in the power of this program and what it can do for young girls and their confidence in themselves, as well as creating growing friendships with their peers. It is so important to be able to learn how to be a part of a team, and learn how to work with many different kinds of people.
I thoroughly enjoy watching and playing all kinds of sports! Team is so important to me. Having a good team is key to maintaining a successful classroom, as well as successful students. I believe this is why Shiloh Hills students are so great! The students and teachers make such a great team in order to do the best job that they can day in and day out. I love my job and students more than anything! I am truly blessed to have the opportunity to work with all of the students in our Shiloh Hills family, as well as the Wilson School District.
