We are excited to launch a new tool to gain insight into the thoughts and ideas of our stakeholders. We recently established a relationship with a company called Thoughtexchange, which works with schools and other organizations to provide a platform for people to share their ideas via open-ended questions.
We have officially launched our first Thoughtexchange today and would love to have you participate. The question we will be asking in this first Thoughtexchange is: What is the Wilson School District doing well and what are opportunities for improvement for the benefit of our students?
You can access the Exchange by clicking on this link https://my.thoughtexchange.com/#962432438. Once you enter the Exchange, you’ll be asked to respond to the question, consider and assign stars to the ideas shared by others, and learn what’s important to the group. Please note that there is an option to register, but that is not required.
Your thoughts and stars are confidential. You can come back as often as you’d like to participate and, in fact, we ask that you do come back to star some of the new ideas shared since you first participated. The ratings will help us understand the most important areas to focus on as we look forward to the 2019-2020 school year. Participation will be open until May 28.
Here are some quick tips to get you going:
- Come into the exchange to share your thoughts. Remember to say why each thought is important.
- Consider and rate the thoughts of others using stars (30 is ideal).
- Thoughtexchange keeps confidential who shared each thought and rating.
- When enough participants have shared and rated thoughts, you will be able to explore and discover the results.
We look forward to hearing from you so we can work together to make the Wilson School District the best it can be! Again the Thoughtexchange link is: https://my.thoughtexchange.com/#962432438
