Dear Wilson parents/ guardians,
All Wilson elementary schools will be hosting parent/teacher conferences on Thursday, March 2nd from 5:00 – 8:00 pm, as well as Friday, March 3rd from 8:30 am – 3:30 pm. Due to the importance of home and school communication, it is our goal to have teachers meet with the parents/guardians of every child assigned to their classroom during these designated times to be able to share information regarding the child’s progress in the areas of academics and behavior.
We do prefer in-person parent-teacher conferences, however, we will offer a virtual conference with your child’s teacher(s)- if this is necessary, please note virtual on your SignUp Genius. We strongly encourage parents/guardians to attend this 20-minute conference without their child or siblings.

If you plan to schedule a conference please select a time slot by Monday, February 20th. To sign-up for a conference time, parents/guardians will need to locate the name of their child’s teacher and follow the link to sign-up for a time slot via the teacher’s Sign-Up Genius form. If you have multiple students at one of our elementary buildings, you will need to do this for each child. It is recommended to sign-up for a time slot as soon as possible, as they will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please indicate if this is an in-person or virtual conference in the notes/comment section on the Sign-Up Genius Form.

If you would like to meet with a specialist teacher, special education teacher, or other support teachers, please email them directly to schedule a conference.

Once the conference schedules are set, teachers will be communicating with each of their student’s parents/guardians to confirm the date, and time, and provide Google Meet information for virtual conferences (if necessary). Confirming this information will be important, so please look for this communication from your child’s teacher.
