We recently communicated that one year ago, the School Board and District Administration embarked on a comprehensive feasibility study to guide our long-term decision making about the District’s educational facilities. This study informs the District regarding enrollment projections as well as important information related to the current condition of educational and athletic facilities. In addition, the study assesses the safety and security of our buildings.
In January, the Wilson School Board of Directors held a public work session to review/discuss the initial findings of the District-wide feasibility study. (Documents and meeting minutes related to this study as well as the information that was shared at the work session, can be found here.)
We will be holding two Community Forums to respond to questions and receive feedback from our community regarding the feasibility study. Both forums are open to all residents of the Wilson School District.
The Community Forums will be held as follows:
Monday, February 10 from 6-7 pm
Thursday, February 13 from 12-1 pm
Both sessions will be held in the Board Room, located in the Wilson School District Administration Building at 2601 Grandview Blvd., West Lawn, PA 19609.
Thank you for your ongoing support of the Wilson School District. We are excited about the future of our District and look forward to working collaboratively to provide the best educational experience for our students and staff.
