    WSD AQUATIC PROGRAMS

Wilson School District wants to provide plenty of opportunities for its students and members of the surrounding community to take full advantage of the 10-lane x 10-lane (25-yard x 25-yard) newly renovated pool. That's why the WSD Aquatics Department offers a variety of water activities at the Roy G. Snyder Natatorium located in the Lower House of Wilson High School on the main campus of the district (2601 Grandview Blvd., West Lawn, PA).

The water temperature is kept between a warm 80-82 degrees during the fall, winter and spring while it is cooled down 78-82 degrees during the summer. Chlorine levels are maintained between 1.5-2.0 with a pH level between 7.4-7.6 and provides multiple ADA approved water accesses to create the ideal swimming experience. If that isn't inviting enough, a heavy focus was placed on providing the best possible air quality for both participants and spectators. To achieve this, the district installed a brand new HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning) System as well as the Paddock Evacuator System which will control air quality directly on the surface of the pool. In addition, the renovation project incorporated updates to the sound system, women's locker room facility, a new off-deck classroom and a family friendly changing room.
