• Field Day

This year, Cornwall Terrace students will enjoy Red and White Field Day on Friday, June 2.  This will be a fun filled day with lots of games.  With a focus on safety, please remember to send a refillable water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat to school with your child.  And, if your child uses an inhaler, please make sure your child uses it at home before school.

The rain date is Monday, June 5th.

  • Clearances and Field Trips

It's spring trip season and your children are likely taking their class trip in the next few weeks.  If you are attending a class trip, like Education Day with the Fightins - grades 3 to 5 on Thursday, June 1, you must have clearances to attend with our group.

Please follow this link, complete/print the Criminal History, Child Abuse, and Wilson Volunteer forms, and return to the office.  It takes about an hour of your time to finish, but it is valid at Wilson School District for up to 5 years from the date you requested the clearances.  There is no cost to you as long as you make sure to select "volunteer" as your reason to request your clearances.

Please contact Mrs. VanOstenbridge at with questions.

Summer Reading Opportunity from the Librarian

This year the Cornwall Terrace Library will allow students to check out 10 books over the summer break. Students may choose their books during the last week of school June 5-9th. Parents may come into school to help choose books. Also, students may submit a list of the books they would like to check out to the library, and the staff will work to gather them.

Please note this offer is only valid for students in good standing who have no outstanding fines and have returned all their library books as of June 5.  Click here for the link to the permission slip.  Contact Mrs. Houck at with additional questions.
