Wilson inducted six members into its Athletic Hall of Fame during ceremonies Friday, Sept. 27, prior to the home football game vs. Manheim Township. The Class of 2019 includes:
Kristen Renner Dvorscak: The 1994 grad set school record and won District 3 gold in 300 hurdles and swam on school record-setting medley relay team, which won a PIAA silver medal. Earned track scholarship to University of Miami.
Jesse Ebner: Three-year starter in field hockey, basketball and soccer was school’s Female Athlete of the Year and Reading Eagle Athlete of the Year as a senior in 2009. Played on three county championship teams as a junior.
Tim Fick: Played on Bulldogs’ first district soccer champion as a sophomore and its first county soccer champion as a senior, in 1990. Set program record with 249 wins as Bulldogs boys head coach from 1996-2011. Also school’s winningest girls soccer coach, with 280 victories.
Larry Miles: Earned eight varsity letters in football, cross country, basketball and baseball, and was named Outstanding Male Athlete as a senior in 1965. Was first starting quarterback under John Gurski and played on West Lawn Owls 1962 state legion champion.
Jack Ruth: Named Pennsylvania water polo Player of the Year and Reading Eagle Athlete of the Year in 2009. As a senior he was a county champ in water polo, swimming and javelin. Earned All-American honors in water polo.
Brian Stahl: Led Bulldogs swim team to three straight CPL championships and water polo team to three straight PIAA & EWPA titles. Set school record in 100 backstroke. Two-time All-American in water polo.
