  • Winter Holiday Technology Parent Night

    Do you need help with holiday gift ideas for your child that will be appropriate and cost effective? Do you want to learn more about setting up parental filters at home that keep your child safe on all devices? If so, please come to our technology parent night to get your hands on different tablets and Chromebooks and to learn about the differences and benefits of each. We will also have sessions on digital citizenship, setting up home network filters, and Google Apps.  Hot chocolate and snacks will be provided!

  • GIRLS ON THE RUN IS COMING TO WEST!

    Girls on the Run, a life changing, character development and prevention program for girls in 6th-8th grade will run at West this fall beginning September 15.  Click here for registration.

  • Again this year Wilson West will be participating in Giant Food Stores fundraising program. Beginning September 15, 2014 you can register your Giant BONUSCARD and help us earn A+ School Rewards every time you shop with your BONUSCARD. Current supporters do NOT need to re-register their BONUSCARD. Information can be found below under "News" below.  Be sure to use ID#05882 when prompted.

    Language Arts -  April 13th - 17th (all grades)
    Math -  April 20th - 24th (all grades) 
    Science - (8th grade only) April 27th - May 1st 
    Alg.I Keystone exams dates will be posted at a later date. These are normally administered during the last two weeks of May.

    Emergency & Inclement Weather Notification

    for School Closing, Delay and Early Dismissal

    As soon as a weather or other emergency situation that may affect the school day presents itself, Superintendent Dr. Rudy Ruth will be in touch with our Transportation and Operations Directors, as well as surrounding district Superintendents.  He will make a decision based on the information presented to him at the time that the call must be made for the purposes of maintaining student and employee safety.  The Wilson School District has a comprehensive and time-efficient notification plan in place for updating our staff, parents and students.  Please visit www.WilsonSD.org/Emergency to take note of the ways in which we will post any information related to a Wilson school closing, delay or early dismissal for inclement weather or other emergency situation.
