Wilson High School Honors Internship Program
Wilson High School is proud to announce our Honors Internship Program for our junior and senior students beginning next school year. The purpose of the Honors Internship Program is to provide a practical introduction to the professional work environment through direct contact with professionals in the community. Students will participate in a workplace experience, in regularly scheduled meetings with the supervising teacher, and in semester presentations. Internships may be paid or unpaid. Internships can be tailored to the unique needs and interests of the learner. A learning agreement outlines the expectations of all parties: the student, parent, supervising teacher, employer, and school. For more information, click here.
Here is Ellen Albright, Communications Director for the Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce speaking on Comcast's Newsmakers show about the Wilson Honors Internship Program:
US News & World Report named Wilson High School as one of America's Best High Schools in 2015.
