In the fall of 2000, one hundred eighty-nine countries met at the United Nations and agreed to eight Millennium Development Goals to make the world a better place
for everyone.
In fall 2008, the sixth graders from Green Valley Elementary School in Sinking Spring, PA, formed a global partnership with other schools around the U.S.A. to help the U.N. achieve these goals.
Proceeds from the sales of this water will be used to fund technologies that bring safe, clean water to an area in the world where a child dies every 8 seconds as a result of contaminated drinking water.
